Visual Appointment Creator

This app demonstrates the use of a gallery to display time slots for a particular day. The gallery will display if the time slot is open or already assigned. The app allows a time slot to be chosen and information about that time slot to be entered. The current day is displayed in the Date Picker control and icons allow the incremental changing of the date.

Mimic Datasheet View

Galleries can be created that behave like editable data sheets. The rows are read only until the user selects the Edit icon. This sets the the Input Text controls to edit. The Save, Cancel, and Delete buttons will also be displayed when Edit is selected.

Animated Bar Graph

This app demonstrates the use of Labels and a Timer control to display and animate a bar graph. The app allows the user to select a month, and then the top five flavors of ice cream are displayed in the graph.

Just went through this for the second time and downloaded everything. The information here speeds up the PA learning curve a lot.

I thought the examples were good and the lesson text was easy to follow, though I was distracted by the typos and errors in text and formulas. I could not tell if the NEXT button continued the current module or navigated to the next module. After a while I realized they always moved to the next module. I would suggest a simple test after each module or each set of modules.
